What is graphic recording?

Graphic recording translates spoken words, such as presentations or discussions, into images and little text. The graphic recorder at speakture works digitally with a tablet and pen. Everything is drawn individually by hand – in real-time, live while the content is shared.

In this way, the conference sketcher creates a visual protocol in real time that succinctly captures the key messages from the workshop or the key note. This live scribing, also called visual recording, enables participants of meetings, conventions or conferences – online, hybrid and on-site – to process content on a visual level. prior to the event

Briefing on content and form. We discuss and clarify (e.g. via zoom, teams or by phone) what goal you are pursuing with the graphic recording, what content is involved and what role I should have as graphic recorder.

during the event

The graphic recording happens digitally – the question is: should it be visible or not? Depending on the equipment of the room and on your needs, the graphic recording can be visible during the event. This way, participants can follow stroke by stroke how the content is created and visualised. Since this can draw attention away from the speakers, it makes sense sometimes to fade in the graphic recording selectively.

after the event

At the end of your event, the graphic recording is also finished. If necessary, small “cosmetic” details need to be added. You receive the graphic recording in digital form in the agreed format – and it is ready to share with the participants or on social media.

further use

You can use the finished graphic recording immediately for your internal and external communication. Because your company colours are used in the graphic recording, it fits perfectly into your corporate identity world – and is still a little different. A graphic recording will be remembered!
